If I were making this trip, I'd book a hotel in downtown Seattle and spend a day or two playing tourist. It's an interesting city to see, particularly if you haven't been there before.

I'm coming out on Zephyr connecting to CS on into SEA with AS to ORD late the next day: Marriot(Courtyard), 925 Westlake Av, 15 minutes walk from Amtrak, 10K AA miles, pretty good as rates are running about $200, late April, anyhow. Happy Rails.
