My company will reimburse me and just eat it, but I was wondering since it's not in my name but I did pay for it, what recourse I have for returning it for credit (i.e. pay the $150-$200 for a credit to be used later)? I want to say since the ticket isn't in my name, we are pretty much losing control of the ticket. Due to the circumstance, I don't think we'll be able to get the co-worker to assist in any form of reimbursement or using it later for other travel...

I had this situation on Frontier airline a few years back - I called in to cancel, the credit was issued in the name of the flyer, and they had 12 months from date of original purchase to utilize the credit - at time of rebooking, the flyer (or someone) would owe a $150 change fee
