By "Mid-April" do you mean Easter? I would stay away from the very high-traffic tourist cities at Easter in Italy as they are extraordinarily busy. As long as you don't mean Easter- then yes Aman would be a lovely choice. In the event the Aman is booked, I would look at the Bauer Il Palazzo.
