I've recently had to make multiple 1-2night/week bookings at the same Fairfield in Ontario, California due to my work situation. That is, I stay overnight 1-2/week in order to avoid a very long drive to San Diego. While I have taken the liberty of booking my stays at months at a time out (currently booked till September). Does anyone know if Marriott would agree to a certain rate based on me staying loyal to them, and as frequent every week?
Not sure about 85 to reduced rate, but had a lot of success negotiating from 350 to 150, when my personal life commitments required me to stay a lot in hotels. Repeated this with number of hotels, but please note that I was bringing them revenue at higher rate at low season, getting basically comped for high season rates. It was a win-win for both parties. At the end it all depends on GM/Sales Manager relationship with you.
