I must admit that calling those rooms Suites is a little exaggerated. "Executive Rooms" might be more appropriate. Other hotels have the same overrating issue (W Opéra in Paris for example).
However, I do not always need a huge space, and this hotel is a very nice and cheap option in central Berlin, and everything else you stated is correct.
