I just want to report that we were able to check in for CX881 during the CX883 checkin window (CX883 departs at 11:20.... CX881 departs at 1:05) ...in fact when we arrived at the check in counter at about 8pm, the displays above the counters read "check in CX883/CX881"... and they accepted our baggage and we were able to relax in the lounge until after midnite.
