We are not investors, we are customers. I could care less what the stock price of United (or Delta or any other airline for that matter) does or their day-of-the-week market cap. It's irrelevant to me. I am looking for the airline that provides the correct combination of service, product, benefits and price to retain and reward my loyalty.
Delta has made a decision to reward shareholders by minimizing capital expenditures and further gutting their already useless FFP and attacking customers through SM changes that only add to the long list of existing insults that began with making reward tickets useless with a total mileage forfeiture for changes/cancelations inside 48 hours.
Is that the airline you want? I would prefer to keep Anderson and his crooked crew as far away from United as possible - it's bad enough United's leadership is so completely lacking in leadership skills, innovation and strategic thinking that they do nothing but copy Delta at every turn, following them around like a lost puppy, probably at the whim of our own inept and incompetent Board of so-called Directors.
Let's see how Delta is doing in a couple years after the fall out from the program change has a chance to take root.
