It depends on how your body deals with jetlag.
Class of service never makes a difference for me - as long as I can get a full night sleep the first day I arrive (and do not take a nap before that), I am fine.
I tend to prefer late arrivals for my long flights/flight sequences - arrival after 5 pm allows me enough time to get luggage, check in in a hotel, get dinner... and it is time to go to bed at a reasonable local time.
Even if I sleep on a plane (flat bed including), I cannot be fully productive for a full day after that - and once I start getting sleepy on that first day, things go downhill (thus my preference for late arrivals).
As already mentioned above - drink a LOT of water in flight, a lot of water before and after the flight, offset any alcohol and coffee with more water - if you got dehydrated, you lost the battle with jetlag.
You will not know how you will react until you take your first flight I am afraid
