I agree, it is a little surprising. Perhaps it's a hint of envy creeping in from those with a small willy?

I take the greetings as they are intended, I enjoy the interaction with crew and the greeting is often the catalyst for a good service and rapport with the crew. Why people have to jump in on these topics with such rude or impolite comments is peculiar, perhaps it stems fro a sense of being left out due to their own insecurities ... perhaps it's just plain old resentment?
