I was just wondering what happens with one's status if all points are burned before end of the tier level expiry date...

For the first time I burnt all, but a 500 points, of my A-Club account for a stay in Paris now in May, and my Plat card shows 06/2014 expiry date. I had 20'000 points (earned during the last plat card club year) so I gather this means I will receive a Gold Card for the following year or will I drop to standard blue?
