Booked Standard Room, cheapest rate, upgraded on a superior room with city view.

How are the rooms?
Very small, the smallest room I have been for a CP.

How is the exec. lounge?
No lounge.

What was your welcome gift?
Just one chocolate.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
No.

What was good and what was bad?
Good

• Location is very quiet
• Reception and concierge staff very friendly with all guests
• Room service is high-quality

Bad

• Platinum RA status provided close to zero benefit (no real upgrade, no lounge)
• Rooms are very small, even if they are comfortable
• Location can be a problem for people coming for business in central Lyon (only accessible by bus or car/taxi)

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Very good value - around 35% less than the nearby Hilton.
