I had bought 3 flights with travelocity for travel on delta. Due to a schedule change I had to cancel those flights and received a refund (requested to travelocity but shows up as coming from delta). I got 5x points for the initial purchase but only 1x points were deducted for the refund.

Perhaps people who are having problems redeeming can make refundable hotel or airline bookings, get statement credits and cancel the reservation later. As long as you cancel online and don't do it too often, you shouldn't raise any eyeballs.

I won't need to do that as I often book tickets >$400 but just throwing around an idea.

Oh, and you can click to travelocity thru the rewardsboost portal and get another 2x points. This card is such a winner.
