Dinner service DTW-LAS has been improved since my last ride out there this past fall. Supper was choice of Rigatoni or short ribs. I had the short rib, and it wasn't bad. Decent-sized portion (not dry as that entree can be inflight), mashed potatoes, and carrots with a nice salad. A DEFINITE improvement over the anemic salad/sandwich offering of the past (which was sadly offered for lunch coming home).
I like to see DL improving the quality of dinner beyond a dried out chicken breast portion with a tin of some generic sauce or pasta.
Since they are able to monetize that route better, maybe that has led to the better catering? Get paying people up front, improve the service?
I remember a few years back when DL had the dhort rib. Loved it then. Glad to see DL is in giveback mode on this.....
