A DEFINITE improvement over the anemic salad/sandwich offering of the past (which was sadly offered for lunch coming home).

I like to see DL improving the quality of dinner beyond a dried out chicken breast portion with a tin of some generic sauce or pasta.

Since they are able to monetize that route better, maybe that has led to the better catering? Get paying people up front, improve the service?
Did it look something like this? www.flyertalk.com/forum/22175886-post2174.html

Definitely the winner amongst any other DL meal I've had on a domestic flight as of late (and by late I mean that last decade). I'll let time tell however if this is a permanent standard improvement or if it's just a lucky one-off dish. The return was a disgusting goat cheese pizza so after the beef, that was quite a letdown.
