4. Name the only airline to operate the Caravelle into Miami in the spring of 1966. A tip of the hat to you if you can name what city it flew in from.
United flew Caravelles into MIA (one of the photos in UA's 1961 annual report shows a then-new Caravelle in front of MIA's terminal), but I think by 1966 they had been displaced by 727s, 720s, and DC-8s.
So, I'll go with Air France, from Port Au Prince, Haiti.
The first issue of Airliners International (a very short lived magazine published in 1973 / 74 by Kalmbach, who also publish Trains) featured a ten day trip around eastern North America on such rare aircraft as a Nordair DC-3. One of the flights on this trip was PAP-MIA, on AF.
