Yes, I can confirm authorized users can also register and get 2 additional LC passes. My bf is an authorized user and the LC passes were used without the original card holder being present with no issues.

I am also wondering if someone can clarify when the LC passes renew/expire. I applied for mine in July 2013 and it will expire in July 2014. I used one pass in Dec 2013. Can someone please confirm if my second one is still valid? I plan to use it for a flight this weekend. I am thinking it is still valid and not expired. It would be great if someone can confirm. Based on what I'm reading, I think I can still use it. Thanks!
