Extremely happy.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked twin superior room on points, noticed the day before checkin I had been upgrade one level to deluxe. On checkin I was told I had been upgraded to Diplomatic Suite!

- How are the rooms?
Suite was 1000sq foot+ and had 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a living room/kitchen. Although they called it a diplomatic suite, it was in the residential half of the hotel so I think it would actually be classified as a residential suite i.e. apartment. As a residential apartment in a business hotel, the room/suite was more function over style but very comfortable none the less.

- How is the exec. lounge?
No club access given unfortunately.

- What was good and what was bad?
+ Best upgrade I have ever received under the IHG program.
+ free shuttle from airport
+ v. close to Doha downtown and to airport so location for me was perfect
+ free drink for plat
- no club access or breakfast for plat
- The suite was huge and quite comfortable although as a business hotel it lacked any special touches

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Good value for points for Doha(20k), given the cost of rooms in the city ($100-$150+). Given the higher points costs of other hotels in this city, I would expect the points price of this hotel to go up in the future.
