But isn't it terribly deperessing. It feels like you are sitting in a garage that has been distempered in white and odd bits of orange and someone has gone off to Lidl and bought a few bits left over in a sale. Seats near windows are aspirational.
The only good thing about the lounge is that if you were depressed it makes you realise how lucky you really are.

Distemper and depression are in the eye of the beholder. If you could get food of that quality in a Lidl sale, M & S and Waitrose would have gone out of business by now; and if you could get food of that quality consistently in BA's own (European) lounges, FT'ers would have far less to complain about.
