We're arriving at Chang 1pm, leaving from cruise port the following day with plans to get there around 1 PM. We been to Singapore before, I'll be at briefly, and have done some of the usual tourist things (Birdpark, etc.). We're likely to be relatively exhausted after four flights and 36 hours from New York (an awkward routing, but all free business-class tickets!).

We may just need to crash, but would love some suggestions about nearby streethawker food outlets and any thoughts about what we might do (assuming we're awake :-) that afternoon and the following morning. We eat anything, are fairly adventurous, but because will be boarding the Seabourn Cruise we're caviar/truffles/lobsters on the norm, are more interested in local regional than luxury dining. If it matters, my bihasa is passable.

Finally, if anyone knows of a good, down to earth (read-not ridiculously expensive and Foofy) place for a massage that would be a wonderful addition. I like really strong, deep Asian styles.
