What I want to know is, if I can go straight to the car aisle and check out at the gate with a debit card or do I have go to the counter? I want to put the hold/deposit and the amount of the rental on the debit card.

I will be flying in to Miami airport and can show proof of return.

I do have a credit card on file for my Emerald Club card.
