In my opinion late check out is not even a tangible benefit for gold or plats since it is subject to availability and left up to the whims of the hotel the elite is staying at. I would be happy if MR made this a legitimate benefit by offering Plats 4:00pm late check out and Golds 2:00pm late check-out across brands without exception. But I think the chances of that happening are slim to nil. So I will continue to haggle like I am at a flea market whenever I need late checkout. Fun!
