I've seen this discussed here but never seen a confirmed response.

A few months back I booked one-way business class on AF to Paris for me and my SO. I used my miles for both tickets since she had just started flying on Alaska and didn't have enough miles. She was planning on booking the way back once space opened up.

Well I just noticed today that space has opened up and she has 118,00 miles or about 7,000 short of the 125k for 2 tickets.

Since the tickets are for me and her is it possible to use her miles and then use mine for the extra that is needed without paying to transfer miles between the two of us??? I'm assuming if it is possible I would have to call in for it.
