Wife and I are planning a long weekend in late April to spend in Chicago. We've been there only once before for about 24 hours, and wanted to go back to spend some more time.
Info which may help:
- We are in our early 30s if it matters
- Prefer to stay on/near Michigan Ave / Miracle Mile
- Will spend most time shopping, dining, possibly catching a show or two
- Budget not a concern, want to stay somewhere 4-5 star
I am an AmEx Platinum holder with access to their FHR, which is currently running a "third night free when you book 3+ nights" deal on Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Park Hyatt, and Ritz Carlton - so I am thinking one of those may be the ticket, unless there is some other option I can't overlook.

Just a tip: Chicago is home to the "Magnificent Mile." Searches for the Miracle Mile will throw you off, since that's in LA. I'd probably narrow it down to the Waldorf (located a few blocks from Michigan Ave./the Mag Mile), Peninsula or Park Hyatt.
