"You Booked a flight that does not exist"

Greetings,

Just had one of my more amusing booking experiences with Delta, and we couldn't get it booked. Curious if anyone here had any advice on what I should tell Delta when I call back this afternoon...

- Booked STL-PHX (Mar21) and PHX-ATL(Mar24)/ATL-STL(Mar25) (32,500 total)
- When I landed on the final booking page it said something about calling Delta and that my itinerary was on hold
- When I checked my itineraries, it had PHX-ATL/ATL-STL in First, and it priced out total to 60,000!

The Delta rep said she would change it all to coach and book. However, then she came back and said "I don't know how you did this, but you booked a flight that does not exist (DL2521 on Mar24)!" It is being sold on Delta.com as well as other sites, which she acknowledged. She said she didn't know what to do, but forced it to "N" class, put it on hold, and I said I would call back this afternoon.

Any recommendations? Thanks!
