Thanks, Shama Sukhumvit and Adelphi Grande were ones I looked at- and as I said, suggestions welcome.

The kitchen isn't important, easy laundry is fine (and if I can get my laundry done reasonably fast at a trustworthy place nearby, I'd be happy to go without the washer/dryer and just use a local laundry service- hotel ones tend to be ridiculously priced, though).

Adelphi Suites on Soi 8 looks interesting, too...
