Lets be realistic. I'm a NYer, who walks everywhere, and I would never say the Sheraton and Avis "about a block away". The closest Starwood/SPG property is the Four Points.
That is not a block, in addition, you would still need to walk around parking lots.
Just look at Google maps.
Woops. I was thinking of the parking lot in the back for some reason. I did walk from Avis to the Gateway once after turning in a car but I guess I forgot that it's a schlep.
