I have a dual sim phone, samsung galaxy Y duos. Never use it in the US, however I use it when I travel out of the country. I have my AT&T sim in one, so that I can continue to receive my text msgs, and my local sim in the other one. Saves me from having to carry 2 phones. Dual sim phones are very common in 3rd world countries (see a lot in Nigeria) as well.
