Time Taken To Serve Meal In C

Not really a major problem but just a bit frustrating. Travelled my regular VIE-LHR this week which is scheduled at a couple of hours airborne. Was absolutely shattered (always am after a few heavy days working and out in the evenings) and I couldn't help but notice how long it takes for the meal to be served.

I reckon it was at least an hour into the flight before the meal arrived - and I was in row 1 so was one of the first to be served too. Very curious why it takes so long, was so looking forward to just crashing out and sleeping as soon as I could but in the end managed about 20 minutes by the time I had eaten the meal.

When I thought about it I realised this is fairly typical, drinks don't start in CE until about 30 minutes after take off and the meal is about an hour afterwards. In contrast in the Y cabin, the drinks and snack service starts within about 5 minutes after the seatbelt sign goes off.
