I have a trip to Malaysia that I haven't booked tickets yet, hoping there will be news on what happened to MH370. However, it seems that it's taking long before people can shed light to what really happened.

Granting what we know today, do you think it would be better to just choose to fly with AirAsia? Or would you consider Malaysia Airlines still the safer bet? The only other option I have is to take Silkair, but it's a bit of a detour and based on what happened to MI185, I feel like spending the extra fare is not warranted, or maybe it is a logical reaction?
