Okay, here I go again....I've just done an "alternate" plan to my trip, where I could save 5,000 Avios, but it would require me to take another BA flight (gulp!) from CAI to LHR and assuming I could fly all the way to Istanbul on 20k AA Miles.

MQT>ORD>LHR>IST: 20,000 AA Miles
IST>AMM>CAI: 12,000 Avios (7,500/4,500)
CAI>LHR (BA!): 12,500 Avios
*Or could go thru AMM on Royal Jordanian (17,000 Avios), which would be cheaper?
London>Paris-Eurostar
CDG>NYC>ORD>MQT: 20,000 AA Miles

I'm guessing this plan and my other plan doesn't really make that much of a difference from a savings standpoint, but thought I'd throw it into the mix. Thanks for all your help!
