If I could put my carry-on in front of me and kick my feet out on it sitting in row 19, you'd have a convert. But alas, if I want to put my feet on my carry-on and get a decent night's sleep, I take row 16. Never had anyone bother me standing in front, and always manage to find a place for my tablet before putting my feet on the makeshift ottoman and nodding off. And about 30% of the time I get an empty adjacent seat so I can use that for storage: double win. YMMV!
