I have a question regarding the mechanics behind satellite imagery and its role with regard to this incident.
In one of the articles, the Chinese stated they repositioned some satellites, and I am wondering how that works.
Are these satellites stationary over the same spot, or do they follow a trajectory?
If they follow a trajectory, how often would they pass over area X, and would they keep moving over the same area, or do they adjust the path every time to cover a different area.
Finally, how long does adjusting a path take?
