For LCY the take off minima are 400m as opposed to lower minima at less restrained runways. At LHR the absolute lowest take off minima possible is 75M. This requires a whole bunch of equipment, training approvals etc etc and all have to be working and current.
225m according to the pilot this morning on the 07:00 to Zurich. Which eventually left at around 08:30 (I think). Then again we were lucky we were the only early BA flight not cancelled.
