I never worried about the 'This is the business class check-in sir' - I always found a smile and 'Okay, thank you' worked. I did find myself the other uttering 'Are there other facilities for Emerald' to someone in TPE when being herded to a long economy queue.
When I got to the lounge, they had a First Class area through the Business Class lounge. I popped my head in - different drinks selection. I then sat in the business lounge where there was a bit more life.
