As I've reported earlier, I was told by one CIBC rep to wait 45 days before re-applying, and then another said to wait 6 months. I have managed to break both of these barriers, several times, but not everyone will be able to (as per alc's post above). Best to call a rep if you want to be sure you can qualify to get another Aerogold, complete with the current 20K and $0 FYF offerings, and even then, ultimately it will be the final credit pull that determines if your application is successful or not.

You didn't see the part where I cancelled the CIBC Aerogold in less than a year. Generally speaking, it's around 6 months but I've also cancelled/reapplied within 30 days and have held 2 Aerogolds simultaneously.
