Yes, now the battle isn't getting a receipt but convincing the driver that yes, I really DO need to pay with a credit card, no am I not going to pay with cash. I can't remember the last time I had a cabbie who didn't act at least slightly annoyed when I paid with a card. But I pretty much always do it, because it's my company policy. Besides, I rarely carry a bunch of cash (and when I do it's inevitably not in the right denominations to pay without including a massive tip -- of course they always claim to not have change).

BTW, I'm suspicious that the resurrection of this thread was for the purpose of spamming the link to that site for making receipts....
