After renting a 2010 Prius, I seriously considered purchasing a hybrid. My final decision was between the Prius, the Lexus CT200h, and the Toyota 4Runner (the anti-hybrid). The higher ride height of the 4Runner won in the end, but I wouldn't have even considered the two hybrids had I not driven the Prius as a rental.
