Not what you asked for, but look into Thanksgiving specials... few people flying in paid J to Europe....
those who can afford it is high enough up the food chain to send the underlings during thanksgiving...
If you want to go Sep/Oct, look for alternate airports like MXP, BLQ, etc. FCO is very expensive
