Going on day 1, reaching around late afternoon.. then 3 nights stay and leaving Siam Reap on day 4..
Basically want to visit Angkor wat and surroundings..

While, I am aware that there is a decent bus service from Bangkok to SR, wanted to check the possibility of taking a car ( have a kid 2.5yrs old so would prefer a car if possible)..

Other than additional car insurance, any other things I need to take care for ?

Seek advise.

Thanks, A
Take into account that there might be some issues for your driver to cross the border. He may not have a passport and will surely not have a visa (although I'm not sure Thai nationals need a visa for Cambodia). Why not flying to REP ? More expensive of course but so easy and so quick.
