Played around with the various CDP and PC codes listed (USAA and Gold Plus, which I would of course join if I was going to use it) but every time when I go through to book it still comes up with something like 'These conditions are for drivers over 25' then I click the terms and it mentions a young driver surcharge.

Are these young driver waiver things available only to US citizens? I'm booking through the UK website obviously, should I be trying the US one? Only trouble is if I book as a US citizen the insurance situation is different.
USAA works fine for US website... Might be worth seeing how much it costs to book through the US site and add in the insurances you need
