Be careful, looks like this offer has the new rumored "once-in-a-lifetime" exclusion? I've never seen this language before.
Wonder if they allow me to get bonus if i had the mercedes version before ( >12mo)?

"If we identify you as currently having an American Express® Card account, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have or have had a Platinum Card® account enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program."

The Platinum Card from American Express has increased it's initial-spending bonus from 25,000 Membership Rewards points after $2K spend to 40,000 Membership Rewards points after $3K spend.

The card still also offers $200 toward airline incidentals, Priority Pass airport lounge access, and, of course, the $450 annual fee.
