Come back to me when QR have upgraded all of the slanty seats on the Airbus - equivalent to the SQ Regional seats which you quote as being "barely average" - which fly a significant number of their longhauls such as ICN and KIX. This is even before the A320s with the recliners that ply a number of the European routes that are nearly 6 hours.
Then, you might have some argument that QR is superior for this reason. Until then, I'd say that SQ is in fact far superior in terms of hard product. Even before comparing the merits of SQ's 1-2-1 with QR's 2-2-2 on non-787 aircraft.
