Since my status won't mean anything is one of the reasons why I am considering buying status.
I am greatly leaning towards silver, however have one more question.
If I buy Gold, and make the 10 segments/7500 miles, will I still get silver status? The webpage makes it sound like you have to qualify for the level you bought. ("..to keep your Preferred status ")
