Emirates availability is near real time but not fully real time on Alaska website so sometimes it is better to call.
I was on the phone with a representative and she got the same error message. Told me she'd contact the appropriate person to notify them because it is supposed to be real time. She said it happened twice last week as she tried to book customers on Emirates. :-(
