To which you voluntarily agreed by buying the ticket... Just be happy you flew to FRA, if you were flying to Australia, they would actually confiscate and destroy both items and finally charge you hefty fine for not declaring prohibited goods - any food items (and many other things) are prohibited to be brought to Australia.
