Meh, I personally hate The Counter. It's overpriced and blah, the upscale equivalent of McDonald's. The one here in Chicago closed and I can understand why. There's too much competition here. I can definitely see why it appeals to people though.
When we visited a few weeks ago, we went to Island Burger. It was great. Tiny but comfortable with fantastic food and service.
