In my experiences using the Marriott Visa, there's about 1% in fees in there. I believe it's collected by the Visa network, not Chase though. Same goes for the BA Visa (another Chase card).

I'm guessing the Citi card is similar (which is obviously better than banks that tack on their own 2% above that).
