You can book equipment right at the hotel - no discount, if anything you're going to pay for the convenience of getting it there vs. offsite (I'm sure there are many rental places at all the little stores around Avon). :
There are some excellent local rental shops near the hotel. You'll get a much better deal going there than the Beaver Creek Sports in the hotel. I've had particularly good luck in the past at Christy Sports.
