In the future I would try Kayak (switch countries) or Hipmunk first when trying to replicate a ITA Itinerary.
This would be my recommendation too, Hipmunk especially. They allow a lot of the same routing codes as the ITA matrix and you also occasionally find cheaper fares than the matrix, which is always nice.
