Question about Amex SPG card.

With the US Amex SPG card you get 2 stay credits or 5 night credits so if you get both the regular and the business cards, you can get 4 stay credits or 10 night credits toward Platinum level. Does this same benefit apply for the Canadian version of the Amex SPG cards? I read the fine print but there is no mention of this benefit anywhere.
